Overview
FxPro was founded in 2006 and has spent nearly two decades building what is arguably the most versatile platform ecosystem in retail forex: MT4, MT5, cTrader, and the proprietary FxPro Edge — all supported simultaneously under one account structure. The broker is regulated by the FCA in the UK, CySEC in the EU, FSCA in South Africa, and the SCB in the Bahamas, providing FCA/CySEC protection (FSCS up to £85,000 and ICF up to €20,000) for UK and EU retail clients respectively. FxPro explicitly does not accept US clients.
The core execution model is NDD (No Dealing Desk) — orders are routed directly to liquidity providers without broker intervention. Live testing across the London and New York Kill Zones has confirmed consistent execution speeds of approximately 12 milliseconds on cTrader and MT4, with no requotes reported on limit and stop orders. The Raw+ account delivers spreads from 0.0 pips on EUR/USD with a $3.50/side commission — competitive with ECN peers, though IC Markets and Pepperstone both undercut FxPro on commissions at $3.00/side. cTrader's native Level 2 DOM (order book) provides liquidity transparency that MT4 cannot replicate.
The 6-month inactivity fee trigger is genuinely short — the industry standard is 12 months and many quality brokers apply no inactivity fee at all. The Standard account spread of 1.2-1.4 pips on EUR/USD is average but will double the cost per lot compared to the Raw+ account for active traders who select the wrong account type at onboarding. The Elite account's $30,000 minimum threshold for volume rebates and free VPS is a meaningful jump above what IC Markets and Pepperstone require for equivalent benefits.

Our Verdict
flexibility. The legitimate criticisms: the 6-month inactivity fee trigger is the shortest of any broker in this review. Standard account spreads of 1.2 to 1.4 pips cost approximately double the Raw+ per lot — account type selection at onboarding matters significantly. The 30,000 dollar Elite threshold for volume rebates and free VPS locks most retail traders out of FxPro's best terms. No TradingView integration is a gap given industry trends. Best for cTrader algo traders, ICT and order flow traders who need Level 2 DOM, multi-platform professionals, and UK spread bettors wanting maximum platform flexibility.
